New Safety & Health Guidelines
The world is grappling with an issue of enormous scale and human impact, and our hearts go out to all who have been affected by the outbreak of coronavirus (COVID-19).
I wanted to personally reach out to you and provide an update on the actions that Relax Myora is taking to help prevent the spread of the virus and support the health and well-being of our Loyal and new customers, our staff and the community.
You may be aware that over the last few weeks we have taken a series of new Precautionary steps in response to this developing public health impact, including increased cleaning and sanitizing procedures for our store. We have also prepared our store to respond quickly to any emerging situation, leveraging the considerable insights we’ve gained from all media platforms and medical and health professionals.
We appreciate your understanding that, as a customer, your Relax Myora may look different as we navigate through this time together. Our store is prepared to modify operations that still allow us to service you the best possible massages and facials you’ve been accustomed to.
Visitation Protocols &Cleaning Procedure: Our store uses bleach based cleaning products and protocols which are effective against viruses, including:
Please remain outside until our receptionist calls you or comes out to retrieve you for your appointment. This is to perform a quick prescreening interview and eliminate any unnecessary human contact with customers entering and exiting the facility.
Clients are welcome to bring their own mask, pillowcase or hand towel to use during the session.
Customers will be required to wash their hands with hand soap for up to 30 seconds before they can begin their session. Please make arrangements to arrive 10 minutes early to complete this task. We recommend that you provide your own mask. If you do not have one, one may be provided for you.
Currently appointments will be staggered to avoid customer contact with one another. One customer at a time will be allowed to enter or leave public area. This includes the hallway, reception area and bathroom.
Staff will also be required to wash their hands with hand soap water for up to 30 seconds before and after the the session. In addition they will be wearing a mask as a precautionary measure throughout the session. Gloves may be worn during session.
Rooms will use cleaning and disinfecting protocols to clean rooms after guests depart and before the next guest arrives, with particular attention paid to high-touch items such as lotion and oil pumps, door handles and face cradles.
Public Spaces will have increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting with a focus on the counter at the front desk, waiting room, door handles and public bathrooms.
Back of House: In the spaces where associates work “behind the scenes,” spas are increasing the frequency of cleaning and focusing on high-touch areas like associate entrances, locker rooms, laundry rooms and kitchen sink.
According to state guidelines, we will initially operate at 25% occupancy and gradually increase the rate accordingly.
As a last resort, we will close the store if we feel it is in the best interest of our customers and employees, or if we are directed to do so by government authorities. In any such situation, we expect store disruption to be temporary.
Thank you for being a loyal customer. It is our intent to remain transparent and cooperate with state and local authorities. Relax Myora’s resilience is owed to our unwavering Mission to heal and nurture the human body and spirit - one person, one muscle, one face and one life at a time.
We are privileged to serve you and the community and look forward to seeing you soon.
